Dominant on this specimen are large but damaged xls of ferberite, fluorite, arsenopyrite and quartz. Most remarkable is however a seam of reddish brown cassiterite xls to 0.8cm, located between the ferberite and the arsenopyrite. Cassiterite is considered being a rare species at Yaogangxian, and the xls, although fairly large, well developed and undamaged, cannot meet the standards of Yunnan or Sichuan locations.
