Yaogangxian Mine, Chenzhou, Hunan Province, China
Small Cabinet7.5x6x6cm365g
Dominant on this specimen are large but damaged xls of ferberite, fluorite, arsenopyrite and quartz. Cassiterite is considered being a rare species at Yaogangxian, and the xls, although fairly large, well developed and undamaged, cannot meet the standards of Yunnan or Sichuan locations. On the other hand are cassiterite specimens often misattributed to famous locations, such as Yaogangxian!
