Most of the sulfide part of this specimen consists of blackish galena. Interspersed are some irregular proustite xls (to 2mm), quite dark (brownish red with submetallic luster) and difficult to distinguish from the galena. From an old mine that is long out of operation.

Bright silvery aggregate of allargentum (native silver-antimony). The allargentum has "pseudocrystalline" habit: it formed as a vug filling between dolomite xls. The dolomite is long gone leaving the allargentum as a negative of the vug. The back side of the specimen has saw marks from a formatting accident.

Solid chunk of fine-grained crystalline native bismuth, individual grains up to 4mm. Some matrix on the back side of the specimen, showing indistinct secondary bismuth minerals and some bismutoferrite. From the infamous east German "Wismut" mining complex (now closed and recultivated) that was inconspicuously named after the occurring bismuth, but predominantly an uranium mining operation.
