The dominant crystallization is a sharp bournonite cluster of 2x2cm, with one of the crystals unfortunately damaged and repaired (visible crack, see picture). Remarkable however are numerous sharp dark brown pseudo-octahedral sphalerite xls to 2mm, recognizable by dark orange internal reflections. Sphalerite is a rare mineral at Yaogangxian. The specimen hosts a multitude of other minerals, namely arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite.

Large specimen, richly covered with brownish to greenish-orange mimetite xls to 5mm. Most are barrel-shaped, the habit varies all the way from hexagonal prismatic to spindle-shaped. Both color and habit are relatively unusual for this location.

Large specimen, covered on both sides with rare plumbogummite. Slightly different colors on both sides: blue to greyish blue against considerably lighter blue on reverse side. Very few bruises, quite rare for a specimen of this size. Yellow mimetite occurs in deeper layers on this specimen.

Very rich specimen of world class geocronite; sharp xls to 7mm! From an old find that set the standard for geocronite, a rare lead antimony arsenic sulfide.
